Annual women’s healing table event a success

Through the 'Women's Healing Table' event, Letsatsi has created a safe space for women to share experiences as well as challenges they are faced with on a daily basis.

VEREENIGING. – The highly anticipated ‘Women’s Healing Table’ high tea saw another successful installment recently at the Riviera Hotel in Vereeniging.

The event was founded by Palesa Yolanda Letsatsi in 2022 and aims to bring women from all walks of life together in one room to share experiences. Letsatsi is also  the Founder and Owner of Tumang Home Collections and All Seasons Conference and Events

Speaking about the objective of the event, Letsatsi describes the healing table as a safe space where women gather once a year and have conversations about the challenges they encounter in different areas of their lives, celebrate success and embrace diversity.

Letsatsi says: “This year we invited speakers from various fields and they engaged our guests on various issues affecting women on a daily basis such as finances, health, Gender-based Violence, divorce ,self worth and more.

“This is where we inspire and support each other. We cry, talk, laugh and pray together. It is all about fixing each other’s crowns. This is one of the things I have always wanted to do because I believe women carry a lot of burdens and at times we don’t know how to express ourselves. The theme this year is Prioritizing women’s mental health”

Dr Tebogo Tebakang said that women have a lot to deal with on their day to day.

“Women are expected to be the superhero’s in their homes and that often leads to their health being affected and can also lead to may sicknesses.”
