EVATON. – When a group of young learners from Qedilizwe Secondary School were studying through the night this past weekend they had no idea what was about to happen to them.

A group of young gang members called ‘Guptas’ stormed into the school with dangerous weapons and attacked them, disrupting this group of learners who were determined to better their matric results.
It is alleged that the Guptas had a ‘score to settle.’ A fight erupted and some learners even jumped out of the window and fell 3 stories to the ground. A number of injured learners were encountered as Sedibeng Ster arrived on the scene.

“These children are doing much to pass and change their lives, then learners or criminals who do not know what they want in life come with this nonsense,” said a furious parent at the scene.
