Woman injured in R716 Deneysville collision

ER24 Spokesperson Werner Vermaak says, "Shortly after 10am paramedics arrived on the scene where they found the 51-year-old woman outside of her vehicle. It is understood that she was taken out of the vehicle by bystanders on the scene. According to the woman, the vehicle in front suddenly stopped and she crashed into the back of it."

VEREENIGING. – A woman sustained several injuries when her vehicle crashed into the back of another on the R716 near Deneysville , Vereeniging this morning.

ER24 Spokesperson Werner Vermaak says, “Shortly after 10am paramedics arrived on the scene where they found the 51-year-old woman outside of her vehicle. It is understood that she was taken out of the vehicle by bystanders on the scene. According to the woman, the vehicle in front suddenly stopped and she crashed into the back of it.”

Vermaak confirms that the woman was treated for possible head, chest and pelvis injuries.  “She was later transported to Mediclinic Vereeniging for further care No one sustained any injuries in the other vehicle and local authorities attended the scene.”
