SEDIBENG – Sedibeng residents recently gathered at Ayana Wedding and Conference Centre in Vereeniging to welcome the New Year and celebrate the day as a Family Fun Day.
This Family Fun Day was organised by the Vaal 21 Foundation as part of fund raising for their annual Gala Dinner. The Sedibeng community did not disappoint as they packed the venue to capacity. It was indeed a fun filled day with lots of activities for young and old.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Kgotso Poletsi, who is one of the organisers, he said that he was overwhelmed by the attendance. Some of the stakeholders and sponsors who contributed to the success of this unique initiative include Theta FM, Sharpeville Medical Services, Kopano Events, Kgotso Tent’s and Events, Lawrence Khekhe Foundation, Ayana Wedding and Conference Center and MooiVaal Media. Poletsi said they were humbled by the support and attendance of the Sedibeng people.
“We are truly humbled and highly esteemed by your support . To be honest without you or your support this event wouldn’t be possible. It is mission accomplished and it was heart warming to see the children having fun and we hope to make it bigger and better this year (2023). We can only improve from here”, said Poletsi.
