Tear up the trails in December!

There is a brand new trail run on the Vaal running calendar!

The Vaal Has Hills is hosted by the Vaal Athletic Club’s trail running division, the Klipspringers.

It takes place on 3 December at Die Klipskuur on the farm of Rietfontein in Heidelberg.

The race comes in various distances and will feature a 25km, a 13km and a 7.5km. As the name suggests, this will be a challenging and hilly trail run.

To avoid plastic pollution and keep the venue clean, the race will be a self-supported trail run and hydration packs (CamelBaks) are therefore essential.

There are limited entries, so make sure you enter as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!

The entry fee for the 25km is R300, while the entry fee for the 13km is R250 and the entry fee for the 7.5km is R150.

Athletes can enter at www.entryninja.com.

The 25km will start at 06:00. The 13km will start at 06:15.

The 7.5km will start at 06:30. Follow The Vaal Has Hills’ Facebook and TikTok pages for more info or send an email to vaalhashills@gmail.com for more info.
