ANCYL Sedibeng prays with the class of 2022

Due to the difficult economic conditions in the country over the past two years, matriculants found it difficult to concentrate and pass their exams.

SEDIBENG.- Taking this into consideration and not wishing for the same situation, the African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) in Sedibeng has embarked on yet another project to help the final year pupils.

Sedibeng Ster reported last week that the ANCYL began a program to assist young people in applying for the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS). This week, on Thursday and Friday they will be holding a prayer service for the matriculants. The prayer service will be held on Thursday at the Sapphire Secondary School in Bophelong from 12:00 till 14:00 and at the Vereeniging Civic Theatre in Vereeniging at the same time on Friday.

The guest speaker at the prayers will be well known Bishop Moratehi Sekete.

ANCYL Spokesperson, Lunga Fuzane said: “The past two years have not been easy with the Coronavirus pandemic. We strongly believe that this is the year when education returns to normal schooling. Therefore, we have organized this prayer to ask God to open up his hands upon the class of 2022.”

He added that the class of 2022 has to study hard and play their part.

“We wish the class of 2022 the best of luck and all students that are about to take their final exams, the ANCYL in Sedibeng says, we believe in you and we know you will do well.”
