Emergency power supply interruption
According to the Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) this is due to a 11 kV isolator that just burnt at the substation.
Consumers supplied from Town Substation in Currie Boulevard are notified of an emergency power supply interruption currently in effect.
According to the Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) this is due to a 11 kV isolator that just burnt at the substation.
“Technicians are on site assessing the extent of the damage and working on restoration efforts. No ETR can be shared at this stage,” ELM said in a statement on Wednesday night.
“Updates will be communicated as and when there are new developments.”
