” No service at Boipatong Police Station”: Bishop Makele
A man of the cloth, Bishop Bonakele Makele from the Holy Nazareth Apostolic Church of Christ in Boipatong has alleged that there is poor services rendered by the police at the Boipatong Police Station.
BOIPATONG.- When speaking at the Boipatong Massacre Commemoration Ceremony in Boipatong on Friday Makele said that at times there is even no electricity at the station and that police officers would be found fast asleep on the chairs. He appealed for the intervention of the Executive Mayor of Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) Councillor Sipho Radebe.
When approached for comment, the stations’ commander, Lieutenant Colonel Molutsi said that he is not moved by the Bishop’s allegations as he can not back them up and that he and other SAPS members are living according to police mandate, vision and mission.
” I will never loose focus because of some of the church leaders who have their own interests.”
