SASSA to pay R350 grants from mid June
The SOUTH AFRICAN SOCIAL SECURITY AGENCY (SASSA) has said that the payments of the new cycle of the Covid-19 Social Relief of Distress Grant from April will be paid from Mid June.
SEDIBENG.- The recepients of the grant, all over the country were forced to reapply this year and the agency has said that it will continue clearing outstanding payments from the previous cycle as and when the bank details are confirmed.
“More than one amount will be made in a month, but no one will receive double payments in amount,” the agency said, further adding that it will do these payments in a month until the backlog is finalized.
