She told Sedibeng Ster Sport that most of the young people are involved in drugs instead of participating in sports. She was full of compliments for the parents for their contribution to make this event a success by contributing certain amount of money for the players to register. “I want to thank our sponsors because if it wasn’t for them, I don’t think this event could have been successful. We thank the Gauteng Department Of Sports and Recreation, Build It, SAPS, Community Safety under the leadership of Buti Kele, Futballing Girls, Ceramic Industry for their envelopment to ensure the event went well very well.

Everything went as we planned and thanks to those coaches who worked hard with these players to ensure that Sedibeng Netball Federation has the best talent. I have no doubt that we will have the best team as always that will represent this region in the next National Netball Champions,” she said.

In conclusion, Khambule also made a plea to the community to encourage their children to participate in sports because she believes that sports will save them from a lot of trouble such as crime and drugs.
