Royal Rangers win soccer kit at Easter tournament

Despite losing to Juventus in the final, Royal Rangers FC went back home with a brand new soccer kit.

SEBOKENG.- Royal Rangers FC went to play Master Zondo Foundation Tournament without a proper playing kit but came home with a brand new soccer kit.

This was after they lost 1-0 to Juventus FC in the u13 final played at Sebokeng Ajax FC ground in Zone 12 this past Easter long weekend.
These two teams received a set of soccer kit for reaching the final. Royal Rangers FC went to play this Master Zondo Foundation Tournament with soccer bibs that were donated to them by Nale Academy. Despite losing to Juventus in the final, Royal Rangers FC went back home with a brand new soccer kit. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Royal Rangers FC founder/coach Thabo Mashianoke said this was God’s miracle because it never crossed his mind that they would win a soccer kit.

“Look, we went there just to participate but we didn’t anticipate to go to the final. It is like God answered our prayers because this soccer kit came when we needed it most. We want to thank Nale Academy for donating the set of bibs to our club. We had nothing and we came here to play with these soccer bibs not knowing that we would go back home with new soccer kit. As Royal Rangers FC we also want to thank the tournament organisers for the invitation. Look at these youngsters how excited they are because now they will play with a proper soccer kit. This will serve as motivation for them,” said over the moon Mashianoke.

Meanwhile, Mashianoke appeals to the Lakeside Community especially business people to come on board to assist them with some playing equipment.
