Men should speak out against GBV

“When you happily finished polishing that relationship (in the bedroom), its where the couple can go to the kitchen."

BOPHELONG. – The Indibano Victim Empowerment Project has learnt that most of the males do not speak out, ‘instead they prefer to die from inside’.

This was learnt during a workshop under the theme: ‘Understanding Gender Based Violence (GBV) in a marriage’, hosted at the Bophelong Community Library recently. The purpose of the function was to come up with mechanism on how to handle the situation man find themselves in and on how to bring back the sparks that have long vanished in a relationship.

The Chairperson of the Community Policing Forum, Ntsokolo Ndindwa said it starts in the bedroom to ‘spring clean’.

“When you happily finished polishing that relationship (in the bedroom), its where the couple can go to the kitchen. For one to keep peace and warmth in the family always try to speak life in the relationship.”
