Clever twins rake in 16 distinctions collectively

A pair of twins from Hoërskool Drie Riviere raked in an impressive total of 16 distinctions between the two of them in the 2021 National Senior Certificate Exams.

VEREENIGING. – The academic rivalry between this brother and sister has led to some spectacular matric results!

Peter Sephton-Poultney achieved a total of eight distinctions in the National Senior Certificate Exams of 2021 with his sister Sarah Sephton-Poultney equaling her brother’s tally by also achieving eight distinctions.

Peter achieved distinctions in English Home Language (89%), Afrikaans First Additional Language (91%), Mathematics (95%), Life Orientation (96%), Physical Science (99%), Life Science (94%), Accounting (97%) and Advanced Programme Mathematics (94%) while maintaining an average of 94.43%.

Sarah achieved distinctions in English Home Language (92%), Afrikaans First Additional Language (96%), Mathematics (99%), Life Orientation (96%), Physical Science (98%), Life Science (95%), Accounting (97%) and Advanced Programme Mathematics (82%) while maintaining an average of 96.14%.
