South African Vera fans who were left baying for more after the first two episodes of Season 11 dropped last year are being rewarded for their loyalty and patience. After the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted filming, the eagerly awaited final four feature-length episodes starring BAFTA-winning British actress Brenda Blethyn (Secrets and Lies, Little Voice) as DCI Vera Stanhope are finally landing on February 3. In the latest season, new and exclusive to BritBox, the brilliant no-nonsense detective and her team continue to face daunting challenges as they set out to solve tricky murders. Fans hailed the first two episodes as “the best ever”, and the remaining four episodes in the season are likely to follow suit. Why not binge all 10 previous seasons of Vera on BritBox before tucking into the latest one?
