SEDIBENG.- There were mixed feelings amongst South African soccer fans when Ghana played to a 1-1 against Gabon in the African Cup Of Nation (AFCON) in Group C on Friday.

This was supposed to be a must win game for Ghana after they lost their open game against Morocco.
As things stands, Ghana is sitting second on on the bottom of the Group C with one game left. To date, Ghana beat Bafana Bafana to qualify for AFCON through a controversial penalty. This was bitter pill to swallow for South Africans soccer fans as they felt hard done by match official. After Ghana’s defeat some fans were celebrating while others showed sportsman spirit regardless of what happened. After yesterday’s draw, others were of the opion that Ghana didn’t deserve to be there in the first place taking into consideration what happened between these two countries in the last Qatar World Cup Qualify match in Ghana.
Ghana must beat Comoros in the last game and hope Gabon lose their last game for them to proceed to knock out stages.
