Witnesses sought following Daniel Price’s gruesome murder

Witnesses are asked to come forward following the death of Daniel Price (33) from Vanderbijlpark, who was shot and killed in Evaton West on 26 November 2021.

EVATON. –  Police Spokesperson Constable Thulisile Msibi reports that  the deceased was ambushed by unknown suspects when he stopped at a four way stop at Corner Golden Highway and King Moshoeshoe Road near Engen Garage in Evaton West.

“The deceased was travelling in a white Toyota pickup van and the suspects waited for him to stop at the intersection. They then approached, shot and killed him.

Msibi says the suspects as well as the motive for the murder is still unknown.

The mother of the deceased, Michelle Price says the entire family is still devastated about the incident.

“Daniel was a devoted father of four daughters and a loving husband who was married for just merely six months. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, he helped everyone with everything at any given time. He was very happy and at the peak of his life. He was happy about both his family life and work.

“As a family we are devastated by the incident. The void he left is indescribable. He leaves behind his newly wed wife and his four daughters aged 11, 6, 3 and a one year old. His life was just beginning and has been taken away in such a devastating way.”
