Two killed in Sasolburg motorbike collision

"Both had suffered fatal injuries, showed no signs of life and were, unfortunately, declared dead on arrival."

Two bikers have lost their lives after losing control of their motorbike and rolling into a field off of Minnaar Street in Sasolburg on Wednesday evening.

ER24 paramedics were on the scene at 19:02 along with the Fire Department, Metsimaholo Fire & Rescue and other emergency services.

According to ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring, a 26-year-old female and a 36-year-old male were found lying by a fence off the road and their motorbike some 100 meters further into a plowed field.

“Both had suffered fatal injuries, showed no signs of life and were, unfortunately, declared dead on arrival.”

The South African Police Service were also on the scene for further investigations.”
