Super League games in action despite exams

Some streams such as Boitshepiville didn’t start with their league programme because they didn’t form the stream.

SEDIBENG.- Despite players writing their final exams, the Emfuleni Local Football Association’s (ELFA) Super League kicked off over the weekend. This is regardless of teams having pleaded with the association to start the league after the players are finished writing exams, their pleas fell on deaf ears.

To make it worse, some teams had to play with less players due to the exams with the Vanderbijlpark Stream defending champions Atlentico FC failing to honour their fixture.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, some of the coaches claimed that the parents of their players refused to allow their children to come to the games because they were studying. Some of the teams’ players told Sedibeng Ster Sport that they were forced to play without training due to the exams.

Some streams such as Boitshepiville didn’t start with their league programme because they didn’t form the stream. On a positive note, some of the players told Sedibeng Ster Sport that it was great to play just to a get break from books.
