DA kicks off campaign to retain Midvaal
Midvaal is the best-run Municipality in Gauteng and is one of the the top 5 best run Municipalities in South Africa.
Meyerton. – The Democratic Alliance (DA) is hard at work to retain the Midvaal Local Municipality (MLM) under the leadership of the newly elected Mayoral candidate Peter Teixeira.
The DA says its commitment to the people of Midvaal is to keep making progress, keep bringing a difference and to keep Midvaal delivering.
“This requires a DA majority in Midvaal and we are campaigning for the win.”
Teixeira and the DA embarked on a local voter registration mobilization campaign in Midvaal and also flighted posters for the first time.
Speaking to the DA activists, Teixera promised to continue from Where the current mayor left off taking Midvaal Municipality to the next level if voted in to power.
Teixeira went on a walk about in Meyerton CBD and also went to the Meyerton Taxi Rank where he spoke to commuters on matters of service delivery and highlighted his intentions.
