SEBOKENG.- Diphetogo Netball Club were crowned the Twizza District Netball Championships champions.
This was after they scored 40-35 against Silver Ferns Netball Club at Saul Tsotetsi Sports Complex in Zone 14 over the weekend. Tsoelopele Netball Club finished third place in the competition with Avalon Netball Club finished fourth place. This was in female category.
These were final games after sporting activities were suspended due to COVID-19. Sedibeng Netball Federation, Chairperson Fakazile Nkitsing hailed these Twizza District Netball Championships as a great success.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Nkitseng said it was a great day of netball with all the participating teams giving it their best.
Silver Ferns Netball Club maleteam was crowned the Twizza District Netball Championships champions in the males category while Diphetogo Netball Club finished as runners up. 
“This was a great success and I want to take this opportunity to thank all the teams for making this championship a success. The standard was very high and I was very impressed with individual players. We have great talent in Sedibeng that we must take care of. I also want to take this opportunity to thank our stakeholders for making this championships a success.” she concluded.
