Burglary at Evaton Police Station Detective’s offices

“The Police ordered him to lay down and the suspect was arrested.”

EVATON. – Two suspects are behind bars and charged with burglary following an incident at the Evaton Police Station on Sunday.

It is said that at about 06:00 the members of the police were on duty when they decided to patrol around the station and made the discovery.

Police Spokesperson, Constable Thulisile Msibi said that the members heard strange noises coming from around the detective’s offices, they then looked through the open window and saw a man who was carrying a scissor.

“The Police ordered him to lay down and the suspect was arrested.”

Investigations revealed that there was a second suspect in the office.

“The second suspect refused to come out of the office and the police used a pepper spray to control him.  A bolt cutter, scissors and three (3) Saps flags were in the possession of the suspect.”

Both suspects were detained and will soon appear at Sebokeng magistrate court.
