Operation ‘O kae Molao’ a great success

At least forty four illegal immigrants were arrested for failing to produce proper documents. 

MEYERTON. –  The regional law enforcement agencies confiscated alcohol that includes homemade brandy to the value of R138 000.

The arrests were made around Kliprivier and Meyerton areas during Operation ‘O kae Molao’ yesterday, 22 April.

Providing with the effective services, Police stopped and search several motorists.

Police spokeswoman Sergeant Gertrude Makhale said at least forty four illegal immigrants were arrested for failing to produce proper documents.  Another four suspects were  arrested for selling Illicit cigarettes and dealing in dagga.

The dagga was estimated to the value of R35 000.

The traffic fines that amount to value of R14 300 were issued.

Sedibeng Commissioner Major General Zodwa Molefe applauded the members for the good work done.

The suspects will appear before Magistrate Court soon.
