A 47-year-old man has been knocked down by a light motor vehicle and seriously injured on General Hertzog Road, Three Rivers, Vereeniging, this evening.
ER24 paramedics were on the scene at 20:02 to find the man lying on the side of the road in the rain. The patient had suffered serious injuries and needed to be treated with Advanced Life Support interventions to stabilise his condition before being transported to Kopanong Hospital for further care. The driver of the light motor vehicle was uninjured in the incident.
The South African Police Services were also on the scene for further investigations.
