Audi unveils facelifted SQ5 TDI with sportier looks

Audi has pulled back the covers off its facelifted SQ5 TDI that spawns a fresh and sharper look as well as an efficient engine.

Speaking of power, the refreshed Audi SQ5 still uses the same 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine with 251 kW of power and a whopping 700 Nm of torque.

The engine is said to have been refined to churn out torque across a wider range while also bringing peak power earlier.

It uses a Quattro system plus an eight-speed automatic gearbox that enables it to hurtle from a stop to 100 km/h in a claimed 5.1 seconds before hitting the limiter at 250 km/h.

The V6 TDI engine is paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that, according to Audi helps reduce emissions and fuel consumption.

Facelifted Audi SQ5 breaks cover with 700 Nm of torque

The system allows the SQ5 to coast with the engine switched off for up to 40 seconds, therefore decreasing fuel use.

The refreshed Audi SQ5 rides on standard 20-inch alloy wheels.

The exterior is rounded off by a matte aluminium strip at the rear, new head and taillights as well as chrome oval tailpipes.

Matrix LED headlights come standard. Inside, the SQ5 comes with a 10.1-inch infotainment system plus a 12.3-inch virtual cockpit.
