Operation “Basadi- O ka e Molao”
SAPS members continued with strategies of the provision of a safe and secure environment for the citizens.
SHARPEVILLE-.The Sedibeng District SAPS continued with strategies of the provision of a safe and secure environment for the citizens within the Sedibeng District policing area. This, they did, through their Operation, “Basadi- O ka e Molao”.
Their parade was held at Sharpeville SAPS on Friday evening and Vanderbijlpark Station Commander and overall commander on the day, Brigadier Nikiwe Hoaeane directed the operation.
Operation Basadi focused on visible policing, monitoring compliance by liquor outlets and curfew as per the disaster management and national lockdown regulations.
Lieutenant Colonel Sigo motivated and encouraged members to portray themselves professionally when interacting with the community. She further reminded the SAPS members to always remember their safety, and to work as a team.
