Murder case postponed

The application was denied and the case was postponed to June 6.

SEBOKENG.- Pulane  Merriam Mafa (56), mother-in-law, Mannini Ana Khambule (38) sister- in-law and Dikotsi Radebe (30), the murder suspects in the case of Mohanua Annie Kobedi (26) whose body was found in a pit toilet in Harry Gwala Section inSasolburg, recently appeared at the Sasolburg Magistrate Court for bail application.

The application was denied and the case was postponed to June 6. A case against the fourth suspect has been withdrawn after investigation could not link him to the murder. Kobedi disappeared on February 4, last year and police preliminary investigations revealed that the body of deceased was dumped in a pit toilet inside the yard of the church at Harry Gwala Section in Sasolburg.

The body was found early this month.

A member of the family, Puleng Malema (38) said that they were shocked to find out that the suspects in the matter are related to the deceased. She said they hope and trust that the law will take its course with the hope that the suspects would rot in jail.
