SEBOKENG. – A 40-year-old man has been arrested after stabbing a 36-year-old woman several times , ultimately killing her.
Police spokesperson Captain Teboho Lephoto says that police received a call yesterday afternoon about a gruesome murder scene at Zone 13 Sebokeng.
“Upon arrival to the scene, police found the body of a woman with several stab wounds. The suspect was also found on the scene and immediately arrested. He had to be taken to hospital for medical attention as he tried to commit suicide. He is currently admitted under police guard”
Lephoto said that the motive behind the killing was not yet known. As for how the suspect and the deceased were related, Lephoto said that this would form part of the murder investigation.
