Vehicle rollover leave six injured

GAUTENG.- Six people were left injured last night, two of them critically, following a single-vehicle rollover on the R556 in Randfontein.
ER24 paramedics, along with the Gauteng EMS, arrived on the scene at 18:30 to find a light motor vehicle upright on the side of the road. Several people were found lying around the scene.
Medics assessed the patients and found that a 4-year-old girl and an 11-year-old girl had both sustained numerous injuries and were in a critical condition. Four other patients were found with minor to critical injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries and the critically injured provided with advanced life support interventions.
Once treated, the 4-year-old was airlifted by a private medical helicopter to a nearby hospital. The remaining patients were transported by ambulance.
Once person from the light motor vehicle fortunately escaped injury.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
