Mayisa told Sedibeng Ster that fans will be entertained by his wellknown comedian friends and that there will be lots of surprise performances on the day.
Mayisa started his professional comedy career after successfully completing his time at the South African Comedy Academy in 2012.
With his extremely infectious energy and presence on stage, Mayisa keeps the audience interested, entertained and laughing from start to finish. His passion for comedy proved to be an even bigger dream than his current job at the time and he walked away from his post as a computer systems engineer. After just a year in professional stand-up comedy, Skholo was already featuring on big stages in comedy such as the Soweto Comedy Festival Vaal tour, the Tshwane Comedy Nights, the Just Nje Comedy Nights and Comedy Under the Sun to mention but few.
Skholo told Sedibeng Ster that one of his dreams is to build a comedy empire in the Vaal and he is doing so by hosting the Vaal Comedy Nights.
This Sharpeville born comedian was the host of “When Comedy Goes To School” held at the Vaal University Of Technology (VUT) recently.
“Every year I host a birthday comedy special because it allows me to have my friends, my family, my fans and the people who support me under one roof. I invite the Vaal Sedibeng to come in numbers to be entertained by the best comedians.”
His dream is to take his talents into acting and open his own comedy club in Sedibeng, thereby creating a platform for the upcoming comedians. The entrance to the show is R160 (presold) and R200 at the door.
