Volunteers, come wrap gifts in aid of SPCA

VEREENIGING. – This year, the SPCA will again have gift wrapping stations at local shopping centres where the public can have their festive gifts wrapped for a donation to the SPCA.
The stations will offer their services during December in River Square outside Pick n Pay as well as in Checkers Hyper Arcon Park. The SPCA is looking for volunteers to man the stations for three hour shifts. Volunteers are shown how to wrap bottles, tins and other difficult to wrap items at the
wrapping workshops and you will be told what is expected from you at the stations.
High school children wanting to assist will receive a letter of community service from the SPCA. Volunteers who are willing to give their time can contact Sarah (for River Square) on 071 577 7745 and Michele (for Checkers Hyper Arcon Park) on 083 378 0715.
