Rusticana Neighbourhood Watch need your help

VANDERBIJLPARK. – Rusticana Neighbourhood Watch was established in 2015 on request of Barrage SAPD – due to high crime incidents in the Barrage smallholding area.

Currently the membership total for Rusticana Neighbourhood Watch are more than 400 and growing daily. They work closely with the SAPD. Rusticana Neighbourhood Watch is a highly active group, that lends a helping hand where needed eg. Accident scenes, crime management, fires etc.

We are proud to say that we are involved in all crime prevention operations in cooperation with Barrage SAPD and support all training programs offered. Rusticana Neighbourhood Watchh members will go out of their way to make the area a safer and better environment.  There are a number of main routes that run through our area eg. The R42, R553,Ravel road(Stokkiesdraai rd,) and the Potchefstroom rd. On numerous occasions there was some fatal accidents on these roads. We as a neighbourhood watch has come to a point where we need to built up a unit that will ease the task of saving lives. We have already acquired a trailer, which we would like to build up to a professional emergency unit.
