TSHEPISO. – Social networks went viral after a very bizarre story occurred in Tshepiso where a man was caught literally `pants down’ raping a goat.
This triggered the SPCA into responding to the matter while the man was being closely watched by Police.
A case of bestiality was opened after the man was caught having sex with a goat in Tshepiso Sharpeville by Sharpeville Police, who are investigating the case. Major Mack Mngomezulu says, “The man undressed himself and then caught the goat, strangled it and started to have sex with it.
Also called to the scene was the Vereeniging Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). A preliminary investigation showed that the goat was still alive. However, it died later. Police say the goat’s carcass has been sent for a post-mortem.
The SPCA said the findings would ensure that the `animal rapist’ was not granted bail and released, but would be held until he appeared in court.
“Animals are not sexual commodities. This is a sick and barbaric crime,” the SPCA said.
