Daylight robbery for stands in Boitumelo

SEBOKENG. – Community members are being robbed by a fraudster who collects money to get them a ‘stand to live on” – on land near Boitumelo in Sebokeng. A community member, Palesa Manaba (24), a young woman, said there is a man called ‘Khulu Radebe’, who collects R320 from community members in need of stands.

When asked what the money is for Manaba said, according the fraudster, the money is collected to allocate the place.“It started as a joke but when we checked as community members, this person has taken a lot of money from the people,” said Manaba.

Dimpho Rapakeng, Ward councillor, attests to the matter and adds that they are going to open a case against the fraudster. The fraudster is said to work at the Housing offices.
