SASOLBURG. – The grade 6 and 7 learners of Vaalpark Primary School had the opportunity to enrol for SATU‘s Maths and Science competition this year. Both grades wrote the exact same paper.
They were among the 4 048 participants who enrolled nationwide.
Nine universities gave the top 30 learners in their district the opportunity recently to participate in a Math and Science Fun Day.
Three maths learners and one science learner from Vaalpark Primary School ended amongst the Top 30 learners at the fun day at North West University’s Potchefstroom Campus.
They are Kehan Toerien, Johnny Uys, Lesego Mollo and Prashant Govender who enjoyed the excursion and made their school very proud.
