The annual Rapala VMC Vaaldam Bonanza will be held at Biermans farm on the weekend of November 24 to 26. The Vaal Dam Bonanza has a rich tradition and has been presented since 2002.
Anglers from far and wide use this opportunity to renew old friendships and enjoy good fishing.
Once again this year’s Vaaldam Bonanza has great prizes to be won, sponsored by famous brands such as Rapala, which sponsors fantastic fishing tackle prizes. There are also many other great prizes at a total value of over R400 000 at stake.
The fishing tournament is held for both boat and river bank anglers. There are also team fishing competitions for seniors, ladies and junior sections.
The target fish species are carp and barbel. Grass carp is the target species in the team competitions.
There are also prizes for the best team uniform and the biggest participating team.
Anglers can book online to make sure that they get a spot together with their friends.
The fishing tickets cost R270 per adult and R150 per junior.
