David Kau : Half man Half Comic

Catch his show at the Ettienne Rosseau Theatre in Sasolburg on November 11 at 20:00

Leading South African comedian David Kau is synonymous with many firsts. This Kroonstad-born comic began his career as the first black stand-up comedian in the 1998 Smirnoff International Comedy Festival in Cape Town. He was the only black person on stage out of 44 comics.
“I’d never had experience in stand-up comedy,” recalls David, “the first comedy show I ever saw was the first one I was in.” And for the next few years David was a headliner in this international comedy festival.
As David Kau is about to turn 40 in 2018 and celebrate 20 years of being a stand-up comedian, He starts his first International tour of his latest one man show, Half Man Half Comic, having been a comedian for half his life. The tour started in September in South Africa and will move into Europe, North America, UAE, and eventually Australia,
Sasolburg fans can catch this show at the Ettienne Rousseau Theatre on Nov 11th 2017 at 20h00. Tickets start from R185 and are available from Computicket and all Shoprite Checkers outlets.
