The land belongs to you: Malema

Malema said he is fighting for the land that black people were killed for. “We are here to pick up the spear and continue the fight. We must be inspired by the youth of 76,” he said to the cheerful crowd.

BOIPATONG. – Boipatong was painted red in and outside the Boipatong Stadium as supporters of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) commemorated June 16 on Friday.

EFF’s Commander in Chief (CIC), Julius Malema did not mince his words as he encouraged hundreds of thousands of supporters to, “Take the land because it belongs to you. The land belongs to us and must be occupied by us.”
Malema said he is fighting for the land that black people were killed for.
“We are here to pick up the spear and continue the fight. We must be inspired by the youth of 76,” he said to the cheerful crowd.
Malema also encouraged young people to fight corruption, “Our parents are folding their arms just like the parents of 76.“When we fought against the apartheid system, we were not disrespectful. The EFF is not ashamed of continued protests.
“The residents have the right to fight against poor services. Boipatong residents have been without electricity for four weeks,” said Malema referring to the roads barricaded in Boipatong.
Lashing out at the ANC, he said, “We are in this mess because of the ANC and its arrogance. The ANC can go to hell. We want to build a formation that black people can trust so they can say EFF is 100% black-owned. It will not take the EFF long to get into power – unlike the ANC, which took decades to take over in 1994.” Malema also boasted that the EFF is in charge of South African politics and will win the next national elections.
