Amohelang Ramakgopa scored a brace for his team Boipatong FC!

Ramakgopa scored two brilliant goals much appreciated to the home supporters.

BOIPATONG.- Amohelang Ramakgopa produced a five star performance when he scored brace to help his team, Boipatong FC to beat VUT FC 2-1 in the Safa Sedibeng SAB League match at Boipatong Stadium over the weekend.

He produced man of the match giving the VUT FC defenders all sort of problems every time he is on the ball possession. He was here, there, and everywhere in the field especially up-front forcing VUT FC defenders to defend with their backs against the wall. He scored two brilliant goals much appreciated to the home supporters.

Boipatong FC came into this encounter oozing with confidence after they beat Metro Stars FC 7-2 last weekend. As things stand, Boipatong FC are now at the summit of the Stream A log standing with 7 points.

The home team started the game like house on fire attacking the visitors in all ankles and their hard work was reward when they took 2-0 lead before half time with Ramakgopa’s courtesy. At this stage VUT FC looked dead and buried with the home team enjoy more ball possession.

As always, the home supporters came in big numbers and packed the stand on the other side to a capacity. The game went to interval with Boipatong FC leading 2-0, however, VUT FC started the second half more purposefully in search of an equaliser. The atmosphere was electrified with home supporters cheered their team on for more goals. However, VUT FC were more vigilant this time around not to allow the deadly man, Ramakgopa a space like they did in the first half.

“The Students” pulled one back when they found the back of the net but the home team defend with their backs to protect their lead. At this stages, VUT FC threw everything to their opponents in search of an equaliser, but it was too late when the referee blew his final whistle.

Meanwhile, there game was stop for five minutes as there was some soccer fans who were involved in a fighting on the other side of the stand.
