MEC’s and MMC’s check readiness of local schools

SEDIBENG.- The 2022 academic year commenced in the province yesterday.

Some of the children from the local primary to high schools had an opportunity to meet with the Gauteng MEC’s as well as the MMC in the Sedibeng District region.

The MEC for Health, Dr Nomathemba Mokhethi first stopped at Sapphire Secondary School before visiting the Bophelong Primary School and a day care centre in Boipatong. Dr Mokhethi said they have been deployed by the premier in the province, the aim was to check the readiness of both the learners and educators and also to see if there are any challenges facing the schools.
