Living the high life, Bryanston resident and Yfm DJ Sabelo Mtshali aka DJ Sabby is excited to explore the next decade of his life.

Moving out of his comfort zone and exploring new things, Sabby said he was ready to master new skills this year. “I want to play in spaces where I will be a great learner and just try out new things you know. Things I’m not aware of yet.”

Spending more than 10 years in the entertainment and music space, Sabby said fans expected new and exciting content from him. We can also look forward to seeing him on the new season of popular car show Celeb Rides on Ignition TV.

“It’s exciting to share my knowledge about cars. The new season is going to be thrilling so stay tuned.” Sabby also mentioned plans of releasing some music, dropping an album and expanding his family.

Recovering recently from Covid-19, Sabby said he had time to reflect. “To be honest, Covid-19 was a journey for me. There was never a day that was the same, it was one of those things that you can’t really explain. It affects everyone differently, I always alert my followers to please stay safe, wear a mask and social distance.”

Conquering the virus, Sabby described himself as ‘the best thing ever’. “I was given the name by my Grade 6 teacher – he called me uncle Sabby. When I started playing music it became DJ Sabby which made more sense.”

After googling his name, he saw that it’s a word used in the UK to describe the best thing in the world. “It’s become a thing where you can’t say DJ Sabby without saying the best thing ever.

“When you show you are the best or you believe you are the best, you’ll never doubt yourself and your abilities.”
Reaching a great level of success in the third decade of his life, Sabby is ready to conquer even more this year.
