Music and positivity with Skhandaworld’s Loki

He also released another hit during lockdown, Asambe Nana with DJ Rico and Khuli Chana. A superstar in the making, Loki intends on doing things a little different.

Music label Skhandaworld’s ‘firstborn’ Ndlelenhle Nyuswa, better known as Loki, is hitting all the right notes amid Covid-19.

Having released his latest track Section featuring the main man K.O, Loki describes himself as self-motivated.

“I am positive you know, and I’m grateful because this is all new and I can’t really say it’s bad. I have been in worst places. Coronavirus or not I am in a better place where I was before,” said the Sandton resident.

Keeping himself busy during the lockdown, Loki has been in studio doing what he loves. “I’m just getting started, I’m just getting warmed up so people need to look forward to new music, some very cool collaborations and more impact for the people.”

He also released another hit during lockdown, Asambe Nana with DJ Rico and Khuli Chana. A superstar in the making, Loki intends on doing things a little different. “A superstar with change and purpose. I want to do things differently, fans can look forward to a superstar that is human.”And while many things have been put on hold for this superstar, he has found other avenues to stay relevant.”

I’ve been finding various ways of putting out material for the song you know, not just the usual artwork. Using different forms of social platforms from Tik Tok to Triller, to get the word out there. What I love is that fans have been sending their videos dancing to the tunes. One of my favourite ones was a little kid, a one-year-old singing the song which for me was crazy you know.”

With a few performances in the pipeline before Covid-19, not being able to do it live has been a bitter pill to swallow for Loki. “It’s been pretty hard because I had that in my plans, you know I was primed for it. When things happened, the way they happened because of the pandemic, I just had to accept it and make the necessary adjustments to my life.”

Keen on keeping the positivity, Loki urged people, and advised they should use this time to reflect and adjust. “This time is hard but necessary for people to see their strengths because I think in hard times people really see what they are capable of and how much they are able to endure. Measure themselves and see where they are as people.”

He added that the same applied to artists, staying patient and keeping up the energy would keep the fire burning. When he is not singing in the studio, he said he loved hitting the high music notes of Maxwell and Gideon in the shower.
