Mazda SA celebrates 5 years

Mazda Southern Arica Pty Ltd is celebrating 5 years since it became a Mazda Motor Corporation National Sales Company on 1 October 2014.

Since opening its doors, Mazda SA has achieved a plethora of milestones; this includes nearly growing its sales volumes by 70% since it took control. During 2014 only 4 500 units of Mazda products were sold whereas in 2018 Mazda SA achieved a number over 14 500 units. Mazda SA also introduced a 3-year / unlimited-kilometre, factory warranty, roadside assistance and service plan on passenger vehicles which was an industry first. Also, Mazda implemented the BT-50 Customer Care Plan which would provide BT-50 owners with a like-for-like courtesy vehicle should they have required one.

As part of the company’s community efforts, Mazda SA Foundation was founded which aims financially support authorities and institutions that assist young people through education and employment skills development, with particular emphasis on children from disadvantaged backgrounds. The foundation also assists in the maintenance and improvement of the natural environment.

The next part of the journey is dedicated to establishing ‘Mazda Premium’ by introducing Next-Generation vehicles and focusing on the ultimate customer experience for current and future Mazda customers,” Craig Roberts, Managing Director, Mazda Southern Africa.

Mazda has a full dealer network in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Swaziland which offer the full sales and service of Mazda2, Next-Generation Mazda3, CX-3, CX-5, MX-5 and the Mazda BT-50 vehicles.
