The glamorous Cell C Inanda Africa Cup polo tournament returns this winter

SANDTON – The Cell C Inanda Africa Cup hosted a fashion photo shoot in preparation for the upcoming polo tournament.

 


It was all things fashion at the Inanda Polo Club in Sandton on 20 February as the Cell C Inanda Africa Cup team held a photo shoot to let all polo and fashion lovers know that the anticipated polo tournament returns this winter on 16 June.

The Cell C Inanda Africa Cup is one of the most prestigious events on the polo calendar with an audience of 3 500 annually.

This is where business people from across the continent, influencers, celebrities and polo fanatics to name a few, enjoy an exciting day of polo with great ambience while looking stylish.

The photo shoot was directed and styled to showcase the vibrancy of the pan-African tournament and highlighted the look and feel of this year’s theme, #ArtAndAfricanSpirit. Taking inspiration from Africa’s iconoclastic fashion designs, they unleashed a riot of colour, texture and bold ethnic patterns to represent Africa and its authenticity. The garments were from some of South Africa’s renowned designers such as David Tlale, Maxhosa by Laduma and La Martina.

The models featured was local A-lister, actor, model and South Africa’s best-dressed man title-holder, Maps Maponyane.

Alongside him was Cameroonian supermodel and Miss Africa Calabar 2016 second runner-up, Jencey Feji . Behind the lens was the Johannesburg-based photographer and founder of MRSK visuals, Mariska van den Brink.
