Get your Christmas shopping on to the max! This is the fifth year that this highly popular market will hosted at Montecasino and this year the market will be taking place over 6 exciting and fun filled days.
There will be a wide array of exhibitors – some new, some favourites from years gone by – who will be showcasing their wares – all in their enchanting traditional wooden stalls festooned with fairy lights which lends a magical, almost other worldly feel, to the village itself.
There is literally something for the whole family – from admiring the giant central Christmas tree, plus loads of activities, events, and magical Christmas touches too.
The dates are Wednesday 12 to Monday 17 December (public holiday). Open on Wednesday to Friday from 14h00 to 21h00, on Saturday and Sunday from 12h00 to 21h00 and on Monday from 12h00 to 19h00.
At the Christmas Village, kids’ movies will be shown on the big screen in the Piazza from 18h00 Wednesday through to Sunday and at 16h00 on Monday.
Tickets are R 20 and are available at the event. In the spirit of giving as is traditional at this time of year, R 10 will be donated towards Montecasino’s charity of choice and R 10 will also go towards the 947 Christmas Wish List. No entry fee for children under 12.
