So much of excitement as the news that well known Cape Town based chef Reuben Riffel will be opening up his first restaurant in Johannesburg at the prestigious The Capital Moloko Hotel!!
The Capital Moloko has just announced that they will be undergoing a soft revamp on key items such as its exteriors, carpeting and soft furnishings, and at the same time the entire hotel restaurant and catering facilities will also get a face lift, and the end result will be with Reuben opening his Reuben’s Restaurant and Bar here.
Everything is due to be completed by end of August (we hope we can wait that long!) Reuben is also redoing the conferencing menu’s to appeal to the upmarket clientele that frequent The Capital Moloko.
Expect strong Asian and Cape Malay influences that Reuben loves, and fine dining, but uncomplicated cuisine, which truly showcases his unique culinary flair.
“The hotel’s refurbishment will progress over a few months, minimising any impact on guests and the outstanding service for which The Capital Moloko team has become renowned,” says Marc Wachsberger, managing director of
The Capital Hotels and Apartments.
The refurbishment will enhance the hotels already slick and seamless conferencing offering and comfortably appointed accommodation, and they are also excited to have Reuben on site, to attract ‘date-night’ visitors, business lunches, and other clients to the property too.
