Morningside resident launches healing and self-help book

MORNINGSIDE – Complementary health therapist and Morningside resident Sabita Maharaj recently launched her book, Boundless Love, about self-love and healing.

Morningside resident Sabita Maharaj believes she was prompted by angels to write her first book, Boundless Love, about self-love and healing, which launched on 4 November.

Maharaj has been a Reiki master, lightworker, complementary health therapist and healing facilitator for more than 30 years. Her book outlines her journey with cancer and seeks to help others on a journey of inner healing.

“Spirituality is a powerhouse of unlimited strength. Hold onto your power. You have the ability to carry yourself through challenging times,” says Maharaj, explaining the central message of her book.

She says the book is accessible to anyone, from beginners to those advanced in the field of healing and spirituality.

This is the first book Maharaj has authored and self-published and took her a year to write.

She explained that the book provides a wealth of approaches to healing and well-being including meditation, aromatherapy, chakras and more as well as dealing with illness and loss.

“There is no other book with all the healing modalities that functions as a complete self-help book… It’s about tapping into your inner love, which I believe is our greatest healing.”

She said she has received a phenomenal response from her clients, friends and family, who commented that the book is easy to read and written from the heart.

After working at the hospice for a number of years, Maharaj and her daughter Sarisha Harilal began their healing practice five years ago in Gallo Manor.

A percentage of proceeds from book sales will go to children with cancer and abandoned children across Johannesburg.

“My whole life has been about how I can serve so I believe this is the best way.”

Maharaj is offering free group talks on healing for the month of November, so feel free to contact her to book a time.

Details: The book costs R200 and can be ordered through Sabita. Email her on boundlesslove.sm@gmail.com or call 082 932 3294.
