He’s a Classic Man, who is known by his fans as Jidenna, and has been exploring Johannesburg since he landed in the country earlier this week.
Jidenna is an American singer of Nigerian descent – which is why we’re claiming him as one of our very own. This week he decided to visit South Africa to launch his new album, Long Live the Chief, and perform live at one of the trendiest music spots in the city, the Good Luck Bar at The Sheds at 1 Fox Street in Johannesburg’s Ferreirasdorp.
After exploring the fashion in the city on 6 September, Jidenna took to the stage at 1 Fox to perform songs from his new album, live for excited South African fans.
Shortly after the performance, he tweeted that his performance in South Africa was “One of the best shows. Ever. Period.”
