Local talent unlocked for J.Cole concert

JOBURG - J.Cole's proudly South African supporting acts have been announced – and the country is just as excited to see them live.

Local talent is set to shine at J.Cole’s one-night-only affair.

Even with the release of 1 000 extra tickets on 11 May, many have been left disappointed after the extra seats sold out in just hours.

The much-anticipated event, Castle Lite Unlocks J.Cole, which has most of the country suffering severely from Fear Of Missing Out (Fomo), is not just a platform for the celebrated rapper to get his music into the country, but also one that will be showcasing some of the best in South African talent.

The organisers of the event, Castle Lite, are pleased to announce that they have unlocked J.Cole’s supporting acts which include the likes of Reason, Kwesta, Emtee and Speedsta.

“It’s certainly going to be an impressive, extraordinary experience for fans,” said Vaughan Crouser, marketing manager for Castle Lite.

“We are really glad that we are able to provide a platform for local artists to stand next to world-renowned musicians such as J.Cole and perform live in front of thousands of people.”

If you haven’t bought tickets for the show, then get your favourites songs from the chart-topping international artist ready for your private session with J.Cole’s CDs.

The event will take place at the TicketPro Dome on 18 June.
