Lonehill couple to sing, model and act in US

LONEHILL - A young celebrity Lonehill couple has the world at their feet.

Apart from their youthful good looks, the couple is gifted in singing, modelling and acting.

Winston John Ho (35) and his wife Delia (31) will be jetting out of Mzansi in July to showcase their singing, acting and modelling talent at an international talent show in the United States. The bubbly couple told Fourways Review that the show was an opportunity for them to land modelling, acting or singing contracts with international recording labels. World-famous entertainment companies such as Sony Records, Universal Studios, Tyler Perry Movie Company, Atlantic Records and Click movies will be hunting for talent at the Applause Rising Talent Showcase in Orlando, Florida.

“I hope to score a singing contract – especially with Sony. We are dreaming big and expect a lot of offers from these companies,” said Delia.

Winston was also upbeat about securing acting and singing contracts. “I am going there to secure modelling, singing and acting jobs and this will open doors for us. Our agent will assist us to choose the most appropriate offer,” he said.

The couple had a long journey before being selected to attend the talent show. They first went through the regional Anua Rising Talent Showcase which was held in Benoni last year. In that same year, they were selected to participate in the International ARTS Talent Showcase which was held at Silverstar Casino where they came top in various categories. Winston excelled in singing and acting while Delia did well in modelling and singing.

The love birds have currently got modelling contracts with celebrated Rosebank agent Just You.

The childless couple who tied the knot in 2014 is not planning on having children yet because of their heavy schedule.

“We were, at one moment moving, towards that direction but our careers just picked up and we got too busy. So we are shelving that at the moment to concentrate on our careers,” said Delia.

She added that it was a mere coincidence that they were in the same industry.

“We help each other to improve our careers as we continuously critique our performances in order to improve quality,” said Delia.
