The lifestyle event, set to be held at Zoo Lake Sports Club in Parkview, will be all that was experienced at the Vodacom Durban July last year, minus the horses of course, but inclusive of one of the most influential rappers in the world, T.I.
The Boomtown music festival will feature a number of incredible, award-winning South African musicians.
These include hip-hop sensation Casper Nyovest; rapper K.O.; house favourites Mi-Casa; afro-pop superstars Mafikizolo plus performances by the internationally-acclaimed DJ Culoe De Song, DJ Speedsta, WTF and the newest music sensations in the country, Awon Wolf. The Jack Daniel’s Music Scouts 2015 winning duo, Stones and Bones will make their debut performance.
Headlining the event will be the international hip-hop mogul and multi-award winning rapper, T.I. This music icon has never performed in Africa and is set to blow audiences away with tracks from all of his nine studio albums. With sales of more than 30 million in singles, and 14 million in albums, the award winner has reached multi-platinum record status and South Africa is more than excited to finally watch the artist’s performing skills live in concert.
On his meteoric rise to global fame, he has collaborated with marquee artists such as Jay Z, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke, Lil Wayne, Lady Gaga, Drake and Kanye West.
